Words Have Power

When God created man He made you to be a life speaking individual -- a person who speaks things into existence. This is the type of power God has given to you. The ability to create and impact with your mouth. There are Bible verses to back this up. Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: And the light shall shine upon thy ways. (King James Version. Job. 22.28). What you say matters. It matters in every situation --  not just some. Growth in life is about learning this powerful tool of speaking blessings and utilizing it in every part of your life.

You have an array of departments in your life that must be managed and run properly through the design of what God intended. These parts have to do with your health, mind, obstacles, finances and relationships. You must speak properly into each of these buckets and fill them up with what the Bible says to place in them. Jesus shared this secret with his disciples, "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done" (New International Version. Mark. 11.23). Words have power. This verse epitomizes the power that Jesus has given to you. You just have to believe it. What you believe and/or continuously say will come to past in your life -- that's Mark 11:23.

This belief I am speaking about has to do with faith. It is what backs your words. Whatever you say and truly believe, it has the power to makes its way into the earth. This power works in both directions -- blessings and curses. Speak negatively negative things will happen. Speak positively, positive things will happen in your life. God shares this in the book of Deuteronomy. This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. (New International Version. Deuteronomy. 30.19). Notice the Lord involved children in how you speak. That must mean your words will have an effect on you and your children. Many people have been saying things about themselves most of their lives that have come to pass and they do not know or understand why. It's because of Deuteronomy 30:19. These are laws that have been placed into the earth.

If you have been saying that you cannot achieve or do something for many years, you have just manifested the power of your words. Now, you cannot achieve in that area because of what you have continuously stated about your situation or self. It is like placing personal road blocks and mountains in front of your blessings. This is because you placed your faith behind what you have said for so long -- watering a conviction and belief about yourself. You're hurting your future or have hurt your future because of this. How about changing the negative things about yourself or the words that inhibit your future to words and phrases that build and bless? For instance, In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (New International Version. Romans. 8.37). That has a better ring to it.

The Bible teaches you how to speak about your life. It is important to find out all of the things that you can say about your life that the Bible has for you. It takes a conscious effort to read and research the Bible for these statements from God.

It will change your life for the better!

In the book of James the apostle speaks about the power of the tongue, and how small of an instrument it is, but how gigantic of an impact it can make in life. He compares the tongue to bits in a horses mouth that turn the whole animal and rudders on ships that guide and turn the entire vessel. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. (New International Version. James. 3.5). One little phrase out of your mouth by your words backed by faith can set an entire seen on fire. I am sure you have seen what gossip can do to a situation. It will light an entire forest on fire. Exactly what the Apostle James speaks about.

Using your mouth is what God wants from you. But He wants it to be used correctly. The proper use is to use your words to build and not tear down; To heal and not hurt; Bless and not curse. God wants you to use your words to speak over your health and finances. So they can move in the right direction. Speaking over your children's future and the purpose God has for your life. Most people do not understand this concept. I am sharing this wisdom with you so you can change your situation.

No matter what you believe or how you feel, always speak life into your situation. Do not allow negative thoughts from the enemy to fill you up with doubt under any circumstance. Because it will root into your heart and whatever is in your heart will eventually come out of your mouth. With anything, it takes practice to get good at something.

Start today!

You don't have to sign any contract. All you have to do is change how you speak. Words have power! Your words have power. Begin utilizing that power to your benefit and those that you love -- use it for their benefit too. Your change is in your mouth, not in what anyone else is doing to you. Take control of your life today and speak the power of words into it.

God bless you!
