The Story of Jonah

What the book of Acts is to the New Testament, the book of Jonah is to the Old Testament. It shows that God has always had concern for non-believers who are without hope apart from him. The Book of Jonah illustrates how serious it is to God to have His children save a people. Also, It shows how angry the Lord gets when His children are disobedient to an order that has come from him. Another angle to this story is to understand what disobedience brings not only to yourself, but to anyone else you are around. It also shows that God is very created in the ways He will get the attention of us, and that He always gets his way in the end.
