Faith Muscle – Faith in the word

The Faith muscle we are going to work today is Faith in the word.

In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. 1 John 1:1. When God created the word, he created trust from humans onto himself. Meaning, God placed inside of us to trust in him, His word because the word is God. In other words, we must trust in God and what his word says, even when we feel things are not going to pass by exercising our faith muscle in trusting the word of God, we strengthen this muscle of faith to expand into more abilities that you have never seen in your life.

In many occasions it may seem difficult to believe that God could take you out of a situation that has to do with finances. Even through the most tumultuous times of your life that have to do with finances, when you place your heart available for God to see your faithfulness to his word, your trust and believe in his word can be displayed and He can begin to work in your life, through prayer by answering you. There is no such thing as God does not hear you, there is no such thing as prayer does not work, there is no such thing as you are not good enough for God. Many times, God will test us in finances to see where our heart stands. If we demonstrate that our worries and anxieties depend on money, we break commandments the Lord has placed on us before we are born. And when this is done, the heart is displayed to the Lord with where it stands. Having faith that God will not forsake you. Or if you r heart stands with trusting money. Therefore it is important to exercise your faith muscle in the word of God. Trust in the Lord with all with all your heart. Trust not in money. For money can’t leave the earth, but the word of God will leave with you, anywhere on this earth and out of this earth.

Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free form the love of money and be content for what you have, because God has said, “never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

When we focus on things of the earth that revolve around money, we distract ourselves from focusing on things that matter which are things in heaven. Begin to plan your life, by focusing on the decision you make now when you are in a financial crunch, how do you act, how do you act internally and do you seek God first or do you seek others. Do you have faith in the word of God that by calling out to God to ask hm to come and save you during these hard times? Is your faith muscle exercised enough that you know deep in your heart that he will arrive more rapidly than you can imagine? Or are you hesitant how this will plan out even after you pray, or speak to God, or cry out to him. If you were to be in line to face judgement in front of God and you had to look back on your life and the highlight was, how did you manage your faith with God and his word during a financial crisis. Would you be confident enough to display your heart to God and show him that you faith in his word and in him was exercised enough to trust him when it came to money? If you feel that you would not be able to do this before God know that the purpose of your devotion is to exercise your faith muscle with the word of God.

Matthew 6:19
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.”

The first step to exercising your faith muscle is by practicing what God says in Matthew 6:19. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.” Everything you do in your life do it with a purpose of pleasing God and not the earth. Somethings that we do that seem as they please us may be considered evil for God. Therefore when we educate ourselves in the word of God in what please him we allow ourselves to be a step closer to being in line with the word of God. And a step farther from being in line with the things God considers evil. The treasures of heaven have peace within them while the worlds peace is no peace John 14:26 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

God has given us a spirit, heart, soul and brain to be courageous! Show God you trust in Him and have faith in His word.

God Bless You!
